Join this 45-minute session to discover hands-on ways educators can use AI to make teaching more efficient, engaging, and authentic. Drawing on experiences from three years of 7th-grade science teaching, a year of substitute teaching, and a recent college course, the session introduces tools like SchoolAI, MagicSchool AI, and Perplexity Pro for classroom management, faster grading, and deeper student engagement. We’ll also discuss how assessment is evolving—highlighting creative approaches that pair technology with authentic demonstrations of learning through oral presentations and handwritten blue book exams.

This mini lesson introduces teachers to Babblebot and how it supports effective literacy instruction. We’ll begin with an overview of what Babblebot is and how it is designed to strengthen foundational reading skills. You’ll learn how Babblebot aligns with the Science of Reading and supports structured, evidence-based literacy practices. We’ll also share details about the curriculum we use and our partnership with OGI, ensuring instruction is grounded in proven methodologies.The session will include a guided walkthrough of both the educator and student experiences, showing you how to navigate the platform, assign content, and monitor progress. Finally, we’ll cover key rollout information, including when signups will go live and what steps to take to get started. By the end of the session, you’ll feel confident integrating Babblebot into your classroom.
